What the demo puzzles actually ask you to do
Terry's Vegetable Patch makes simple chores feel increasingly dangerous. These Giggleland Terrys Vegetable Patch puzzle solutions explain the four item deliveries, the office crossing and the lift that advance the recorded demo route. The useful question is which object belongs at the current destination, rather than which secret numerical code to enter.
The route below comes from Night Mind's recorded player experience, with the farm sequence also described in HorrorScoped's original behind-the-scenes commentary. The official demo Steam description identifies this as a separate, complete story built from selected main-game content. These are demo solutions, not a promise about every puzzle in the full release.
Match the four items to their delivery pipes
The central diorama gives the next instruction. After sending each requested item through its pipe, return to the diorama to advance the task sequence.
| Objective | Item and recorded route | Delivery destination |
|---|---|---|
| Something sweet for the children | Sugar from the upstairs sugar room | The wall pipe there |
| Power the equipment | Fuel from the wheat field beyond the hen house | The generator pipe in storage and maintenance |
| Feed the animal | Pig food from the barn worktable | The basement staff-area pipe beside the chained box |
| Remove weeds | Pesticide from the opened garden | The nursery pipe |
The delivery order is sugar, fuel, pig food and pesticide. The recording describes jars and containers as the objects you need; other inspectable props do not automatically belong to the active objective. In particular, Night Mind notes a jar of nails in storage that is not used for the fuel task.
The pig pictured by the diorama identifies the feeding objective. Do not treat the mechanical sheep in the barn as a separate feeding puzzle merely because they are nearby.
Use the office plank to cross the gap
After the fourth delivery and diorama interaction, the recorded route returns downstairs and passes through the staff exit in the brick wall. Corridors and vents lead onward to an office.
Take the long plank from the office and lay it across the gap. This creates the crossing into the next area. The writer's document adds story information, but the crossing itself uses the plank rather than a password hidden in that note.
Continue through the storage corridors after crossing. Eliot's dialogue and screenshot scares accompany the route, so an unusual presentation moment does not necessarily mean another item puzzle has begun.
Activate all three lift levers
In Night Mind's recorded route, matching levers appear along the storage-area path. The sign by the lower area says the power requires all three. Activate the three levers, return to the lift and ride it to the upper level.
The recording does not establish a special numbered lever order, timer or universal button mapping. The supported solution is to use all three, rather than inventing a combination. The upper route leads toward the surveillance-like room, then a vent and the final warehouse area.
For a useful checkpoint, distinguish the two obstacles: the office gap needs a plank, while the later vertical route needs powered lift machinery. Rechecking the wrong area will not explain the current objective.
FAQ
Is there a pipe puzzle code?
The recorded farm route uses requested items and their delivery pipes. It does not supply a numerical code for this sequence.
What should I do after sending an item?
Return to the central diorama and interact with it for the next task in the recorded sequence.
Which item feeds the animal?
Pig food from the barn worktable goes into the downstairs staff-area delivery pipe near the chained box.
Does the lift need a particular lever order?
The collected recording establishes that all three levers are required. It does not establish a particular order.
